Eminem’s music publisher, Eight Mile Style LLC, has recently filed a multimillion dollar lawsuit against Apple Inc. and Shady Aftermath Records for the illegal distribution of 93 Eminem songs via a contract between Apple and the record label. Eight Mile Style is claiming full composition rights of all 93 tracks still being sold on the music download megasite, arguing that this ownership denies Aftermath the right to make distribution deals and collect royalties from the direct sales of the owned songs. Eight Miles Style is seeking a piece of the pie of the over 6.5 million dollars……………….
